Piece Rate Pay per Task and Shift: Five Ways to Split What Your Team Earns
CosaNostra keeps piece rate pay inside the work itself. Set the amount on a task or a shift, pick how it's split — to whoever finished the job, equally among everyone assigned, a separate amount per person, per completed subtask, or the full amount to each assignee — and the app keeps a running total for every employee, every month. No spreadsheets, no arguing about who earned what.
How it works
Choose the rule once, per task.
When you create a task, set the pay amount and pick how it's split: to whoever finishes the job, equally among everyone assigned, a separate amount per person, per completed subtask, or the full amount to each assignee.

Shift pay: a flat amount or an hourly rate.
A flat amount per shift that counts, or an hourly rate from the actual check-in and check-out, rounded to 15 minutes — set once for the whole series. The schedule shows each person's hours and earnings for the week and the month.

See the total, by person and by month.
Every employee sees their own earnings for the month in the side menu and in My balance, broken down by group. The admin sees everyone's totals in the group report and can adjust one person's amount after the fact, right from the task's history, without touching anyone else's.

What’s inside
Five distribution rules: to whoever finishes the task, equally among assignees, a separate amount per person, per completed subtask, or the full amount to each assignee.
Shift pay as a flat amount per shift or an hourly rate from the actual check-in and check-out times, with each person's hours and earnings for the week and the month right in the schedule.
A running monthly total for every employee, visible to them and to the admin.
The admin can change one person's amount after completion, from the task's history, without changing the overall rule or other assignees' amounts.
Changing the distribution rule later only applies to future instances — past amounts stay as they were.
Cancelling a task's completion cancels its pay automatically, until the task is completed again in full.

CosaNostra is a task and shift app with built-in piece rate pay for small field teams. Instead of tracking who earned what in a spreadsheet, set the amount on any task or shift and choose how it's split — to whoever finished it, equally, individually, per subtask, or the full amount to each assignee. Every employee sees their own running total for the month, and the admin sees everyone's — a simple way to keep piece rate pay for completed work without a separate payroll tool.
